Every extra photo is moderated
Membership never bypasses BritSquare photo review. New gallery photos remain pending until approved. Pro submissions receive priority in the moderation queue, not automatic approval.

Your membership level controls square-owner features. Explorer XP and achievements are a separate activity and progression system available across BritSquare.

Plus includes Free features, Explorer includes Plus features, and Pro includes everything below it plus Pro-only tools.
What the richer tools actually do
Plus owners can highlight a favourite approved gallery image and organise views by Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Share useful knowledge about the square, such as viewpoints, walks, parking or the best time to visit.
Explorer owners can pair approved photos to show how a place has changed over time.
Add multiple interesting locations inside the square, each with its own name and description.
Give visitors things to find, try or learn while exploring your square.
Explorer sees visitor insights; Pro adds richer figures including recent and unique visitor activity.
Pro owners can select an approved gallery image to become the featured cover for their square.
Pro gallery submissions are highlighted and placed earlier in the admin review queue, while still requiring approval.
Pro owners with an active BritSquare can apply to verify a genuine business operating inside that square. Approval is separate from Pro membership and is designed to prevent spam or unrelated advertising.
Run a business in your BritSquare?
Pro members can apply for Verified Local Business status once their square is active. Business tools will connect genuine local businesses with people discovering the places around them.
