A few quick answers.
What makes a square active?
A square needs a name and an approved photo. Stories and photo-location pins are optional.
Are membership levels paid?
Not during the current testing phase. BritSquare is testing Free, Plus, Explorer and Pro functionality before any future charging decisions are introduced.
Do Pro photos skip moderation?
No. Every new gallery photo requires approval. Pro gallery submissions are surfaced first in the gallery review queue, but they follow the same moderation standards and never bypass review. Activation photos are not prioritised.
Can Pro members list any business?
No. Pro members with an active square can apply for Verified Local Business status only for a genuine business operating inside that square. Approval is separate and handled by BritSquare administrators.
Is membership the same as Explorer XP?
No. Membership controls feature access. Explorer XP and achievements measure activity and progression separately.
Can I claim more than one?
Yes. My BritSquare is designed to become your personal collection.
Does the photo pin reveal my exact location?
Only if you choose to add one. Photo location is optional, limited to the claimed square and shown publicly only with an approved photo.
